AYOKAY

Born Alex O’Neill, Detroit-bred artist, vocalist, and producer ayokay first burst onto the scene with his breakthrough single “Kings Of Summer,” featuring his childhood friend and frequent collaborator Quinn XCII. Since its arrival in summer 2016, the song has amassed over 175 million streams and received platinum certification from the RIAA. After delivering his debut EP in 2017, ayokay continued his upward momentum by releasing his acclaimed full-length debut In the Shape of a Dream in 2018. Featuring collaborations with Jeremy Zucker, Nightly, Future Jr., and more, the album includes several songs that find ayokay handling lead vocals for the first time.Following his second EP release, we come alive, in 2019 he embarked on his first national headline tour, selling out notable venues such as Bowery Ballroom (NYC) and The Roxy (Los Angeles).

After spending a year producing outside projects for pop artists such as Quinn XCII, Jeremy Zucker, Chelsea Cutler, and many more, ayokay returned in 2021 to roll out his long-awaited sophomore album Digital Dreamscape. The breakthrough album in the electronic space featured the singles “I Still Need You,” “All Mine,” and “Amnesia” with Nightly, and gained support on many of the top electronic playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube.

Since Digital Dreamscape, ayokay has released the 2023 EP If Only For a Moment and 2024 tracks including “Naked Love” and “Leave With My Love.” In 2025, he continued evolving his sonic palette with his Moonrise Reprise collection of remixes and his most recent single “Parent’s Friends.” Alongside these releases, ayokay has toured the country supporting artists like Elderbrook, Emmit Fenn, and Chelsea Cutler. To date, he has surpassed 500 million global catalog streams and earned critical praise from outlets including Billboard, Earmilk, Variance Magazine, Dancing Astronaut, and many others.
